Position is available to employees of the Associated C.O.L.T. Staff of the University of Maine at Augusta from 11/29/2016 through 12/5/2016 and to external applicants thereafter.
UMA Bangor has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Specialist CL2 to provide clerical support to the Office of the Campus Dean, Interactive Television, and the Facilities department. Duties include, but are not limited to: providing complex administrative support to the Dean of the Campus; screening calls, visitors, and mail; responding to student inquiries; collecting, preparing, and disseminating a variety of written and verbal communications; maintaining and updating the campus-wide meeting calendar; ordering supplies; recording minutes of meetings; creating purchase orders and processing invoices; creating and managing complex, confidential files; coordinating special projects and events. Qualifications: Requirements: a high school diploma or GED; at least two years of administrative support experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer service experience; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to use a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use a variety of office equipment; ability to prioritize competing demands.
